ReplyDeleteI didn't know that about Dickens either and I have to agree with you, that would make me not want to read his stuff.
Although I have no desire to read listen to Desperation and Regulators it still irks me that they are abridged.
So you haven't listened to Lisey's Story or you tried and gave up? Mare Winningham is great!
