What it reminds me of is two inter-related stories from Skeleton Crew, Milkman and Milkman-The Laundry Game.
Both stories were supposed to be chapters of an aborted novel that King ultimately abandoned that concerns this sort of Pennywise-ish, Leland Gaunt-esque Milkman who drives around leaving less than savory deliveries.
Don't know if this is either a reworking or revisiting of that idea or not.
In short, readers both familiar and unfamiliar with Stephen King's novels will find a motherlode of interesting information inside the pages of Brighton David Gardner's insightful and illuminating treatise.
I can't recommend it enough, so be sure to get it either for your Kindle or e-Reader of choice, or buy the print version because it's easily worth twice the cover price.
Now this is disturbing; especially that creepy ice cream car with the Mr. Smiley-Smile sticker on it.
ReplyDeleteI don't think this counts as either a Tower reference, or a sign that Flagg will appear, but DAA-yum, that covers just freakish.
Can't wait.
