Chadbourne Painting of Carrie White At The Prom

"Carrie White at the prom"
by Glenn Chadbourne

Cemetery Dance released news today that they will be selling prints of Glenn Chadbourne's color painting of "Carrie White at the Prom."  The print is $25.

From the looks of it, Mr. Chadbourne actually read the book -- basing his painting on descriptions from the King novel, not from the Carrie Movie, TV movie, promised remake, book covers and so on.  In fact, the original Carrie cover had nothing to do with . . . Carrie!  This rendering is pretty awesome, in my opinion.  I like Chadbourne's faithfulness to King's writing.
Here is the Cemetery Dance release:
Due to demand from our collectors who missed out on Glenn Chadbourne's previous Stephen King art prints, he has provided us with an ORIGINAL full-color painting for his next signed Limited Edition art print: "Carrie White at the Prom!"
This is a brand new and stunning 11 X 17 SIGNED LIMITED EDITION art print by Glenn Chadbourne, inspired by one of the most famous scenes from any Stephen King book or movie, and it's perfect for matting and framing if you were so inclined. These prints would also look great just posted on the wall of your home or office.
Humm, I don't know about a print of Carrie hanging on my office wall!  But it is cool.
You can buy your cop HERE.

  1. Might have to pick up one of those. I say "might have to," but mean "will most definitely."

  2. (I'm resisting the urge to make some sort of "Chadbourne Ultimatum" joke -- it's only kinda working...)
