I don't know if I should celebrate, or take cover. . . AMC is giving Stephen King movies a full day. There are a few duds in the bunch (Thinner), but also some true classic gems (Christine).

Graveyard Shift = just awful
ReplyDeleteThe Dark Half = watchable, but not remarkable.
Silver Bullet = great movie.
Dead Zone = it's all right, but overrated.
Thinner = pretty bad.
Cujo = Tedious at times, but worth it.
Christine = I dig the retro kitsch.
Pet Sematary = One of the finer works.
Most of these movies are on Netflix. Have your own SK marathon, comercial free.

This'd make for a fine day's viewing. Some of them are crap, but hey, that's alright; you need nap time, too!

DeleteNot a particularly good movie, in my opinion. The acting of everyone who was not formerly on The Munsters is atrocious.
