  1. That set is going to look very nice on my bookshelf. Which isn't a bookshelf, per se, but a bunch of pieces of wood with -- I kid you not -- cinder blocks separating them. Yes, it's true: I am white trash.

But I'm gonna have the Dark Tower omnibus from Marvel, so I've got in my plus column!

  2. I think that counts as a bookshelf.

  3. It's debatable. Kinda like if you take a taco and then smash it into pieces, is it still a taco? I don't know. It's still delicious, though, I know THAT.

  4. It looks like a very nice set but the price (150 list price) puts it a bit out of my range. I've already bought a massive and expensive book this year - DC Comics 75 Years of Mythmaking (200 bucks list price but I got for half that).
Also I just bought the hardcover for The Dark Tower: The Gunslinger Born and I plan on buying the rest of the collected issues either in hardcover or TPB, whichever I find cheapest.

  5. Luis, you can currently get the omnibus on Amazon for about $95. Also, if you get only the individual trades, you getting none of the supplemental material by Robin Furth -- and that stuff is indispensable for Dark Tower fans.

But yes, it definitely is pricey; my wallet is going to feel the pinch big-time the week it comes out, even with the Amazon discount!
