Stephen King has launched a new website called Prepare For Revival.

Prepare For revival is a social experiment intended to help readers understand just how dark Revival actually is and to help them deal with the emotionally intense concepts and themes within Revival. Without exaggeration we feel it could be Stephen’s darkest novel to date and we really want the fans to know this before they read the book.The website notes,

Each subject also includes opportunities to respond back to the articles, seeking to make the book an interactive experience.
It's been somewhat interesting looking up what people have to say on PrepareforRevival.
ReplyDeleteSome of it is thoughtful, sometimes it strikes me a platitudinous, and many come off as heartfelt. In some ways, I wonder whether or not people should be allowed to respond to each others statements.
If there's one thing I've taken away from the site it's that knowledge (about life, people, etc.) is a necessity, yet getting it is often easier said than done. It's a confusing (and sometimes uncomfortable) yet often stimulating site.
