I mean I guess I could see this for maybe an Ed Mcbain or Tom Clancy, but King always seemed to demand better cover treatment (although I don't include the inside cover of Misery in that statement!).
It's like a cross between The Dark Knight Returns and The Stand. Well I don't care about the cover really, or I should say, that's the way it used to be. Take The Stand paperback, for instance. Pretty basic, and yes, effective, but it was the story that drew us all in. I can live with this cover. Though it looks as if it belongs on a paperback, not a hardcover.
