Here is a linke to an AWESOME interview with King. In it he discusses how Herman Wouk Is Still Alive came to be. And it's a really neat thing.

I haven't read that yet, or "Herman Wouk Is Still Alive" -- I'm waiting for the magazine to come out next week.
ReplyDeleteI've been rereading "Bare Bones" (one of the collections of interviews with King) lately, though, and remembering how much I love King in interview mode. King as a speaker is just as capable of producing pure gold as is King as a writer, and some of the interviews he's given over the years are just wonderful. From all indications, this latest one is pretty terrific, too.
Bare Bones is awesome! My dad gave it to me as a teen. I later bought it hardcover.
ReplyDeleteKing is great in interview mode. I really like it when he interviews himself. Rare these days, but he always seems to know what to ask.
